What a Stage 3 build involves.
Stage 3 is for drivers who've outgrown what software and supporting mods alone can deliver, and want to know what their platform is really capable of. It builds on everything in Stage 1 and 2, then adds major hardware: upgraded turbos, stronger internal components such as pistons and rods, and whatever else the specific goals of the build call for.
Because the hardware itself is being pushed beyond standard limits, the ECU map has to be built around that exact combination of parts — there's no generic Stage 3 file. We work through the spec with you first, scope what's needed, and write a bespoke tune once the hardware is in place.
How we approach a Stage 3 build.
- Goals first — we talk through what you actually want from the car before recommending any hardware.
- Parts scoped properly — turbos, internals and supporting components matched to the power level you're aiming for.
- Bespoke map, not a template — written specifically for your hardware combination, then tested before the car leaves us.
- Original file retained — your factory ECU software stays on record, the same as every other stage.
Is Stage 3 right for you?
If you're already running supporting mods from a Stage 2 tune and want to go further, or you're building a project car from the ground up, Stage 3 is where that conversation starts. It's a bigger commitment than the earlier stages, so we'd always recommend getting in touch first to talk through your goals, your budget, and what your specific platform can realistically handle.
Let's talk through your build.
Every Stage 3 project starts with a conversation about what you actually want from the car.
